Pastor's Blog

Love in the face of hate
As I sit down to write this blog, my heart and mind are heavy. My parish, my family and I have been under attack by cyber criminals who spend their days harassing, bullying and threatening us nonstop. They have nothing but hate and bigotry in their hearts. They are the exact opposite of what the readings this weekend command Christians …

All Saints/All Souls Luminaries
Praying for the living and the dead has always been a part of Catholic tradition and at Saint Francis we will honor these very important feast days with the lighting of special candles. Parishioners and the general public are invited.
You can purchase a luminary to be displayed at our Mass on November 1, 2020 in memory of your loved one. The luminaries will have a candle in them and the name of your loved one on the bag. All these names will be remembered during Mass on November 1.

Donations
You might not know this, but here at Saint Francis we do not take up a collection. We believe that when we gather for Mass, we should focus all our attention on the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Stopping to take up a collection diverts our attention from the most important task at hand, spending time with Jesus!
If you would like to donate to our parish, you can do so by leaving a donation in the basket next to the service books in the back of the church or by visiting our website. You can set up reoccurring donations or make a one-time donation at https://oursaintfrancis.org/support-us/.
As you can see from the link, our site uses state of the art security to protect your financial information from beginning to end.
All items can be sent to 118 Frances Drive, North Augusta, SC 29841.
We are also proud to announce that you can support Saint Francis every time you buy something at Amazon.com! You can visit https://smile.amazon.com/ch/47-1657061 and every time you shop, Saint Francis will get a small donation.
Thank you for your generous support! It is your support that keeps Saint Francis moving forward.
