Spreading Love & Hope...

Hello reader,

Welcome to Saint Francis Parish! We are a radically inclusive and welcoming parish. We are also an authentically Franciscan Old Catholic Parish in Augusta, Georgia.

Currently the parish is closed to the public. However, you can join us for Mass via our Facebook Live videos! Visit our Facebook page at and like the page to see when our Live videos start.

All are welcome to participate fully in the life of our parish regardless of who you are or what you have done.

If you want to know more about what we stand for, feel free to read our Parish Covenant located at our Saint Francis Covenant Page.

Pastor's Blog

Despite attacks we continue to serve

Yesterday I received one of those messages that make me cringe as a pastor. It came from a person who likes to tell everyone how much experience they have. They also feel the need to put down everyone around them for not being as smart as they are. They attack those who are actually doing the work of ministry instead …

You might not know this, but here at Saint Francis we do not take up a collection. We believe that when we gather for Mass, we should focus all our attention on the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Stopping to take up a collection diverts our attention from the most important task at hand, spending time with Jesus!
